Wildlings

An Early Years Setting Rooted in Nature

We are a small kindergarten for children aged 2 till 5 years, who believe in the power of nature, curiosity, and play to shape the minds of young learners. We celebrate childhood in its real, messy, and adventurous form, where muddy boots and grass-stained knees are symbols of exploration and growth.

Our days are spent outdoors, with nature as our greatest teacher. Children climb trees, create in the art cabin, tend our allotment garden, and bake their own bread, building resilience, curiosity, and joy. Blending the principles of Forest School with trained and experienced teachers, we take inspiration from the Reggio Emilia philosophy and place your child at the centre of their learning journey.

We follow each child's interests, extending their thinking, and supporting their creative expression in enquiry-based ways. Learning is hands-on, playful, and fun, whether building dens, exploring the wider community, or cooking with garden-grown ingredients. Daily routines create a sense of belonging, safety, and rhythm that supports social and emotional growth.

Wildlings is more than an early childhood setting, it's a shared journey where children, educators, and parents grow and learn together. We work closely with families, bridging the gap between home and kindergarten. Our vision is not just about today, but about shaping a brighter, more sustainable future, for your child and for the world they'll inherit.

Join us at Wildlings Early Years Setting and experience a world of wonder, where the natural world is our classroom, and every moment is filled with purpose and possibility.
